Using Binance Gift Cards
Binance Gift Cards are electronic cards that can be purchased with cryptocurrency and sent to others. The recipient redeems them to receive the corresponding crypto. They're more formal than red envelopes, making them suitable as gifts.
After signing up through the Binance registration link, you can buy and redeem gift cards.
How to Buy a Gift Card
- Open the Binance app -> find "Gift Card" (under "More" or "Pay")
- Tap "Create Gift Card"
- Choose a coin (USDT, BTC, BNB, etc.)
- Enter the amount
- Select a card design (multiple themes available)
- Add a personal message (optional)
- Confirm purchase (deducted from your funding account)
- A gift card with a unique redemption code is generated
How to Send It
After generation, you can gift the card by:
Direct send: Enter the recipient's Binance email or phone number — they'll be notified.
Share redemption code: Send the code via any messaging app.
Save the card image: Gift cards have attractive designs — screenshot and send for a more personal touch.
How Recipients Redeem
With a Binance account:
- Open the Binance app -> Gift Card
- Tap "Redeem"
- Enter the redemption code
- Confirm
- Crypto arrives automatically
Without a Binance account: They'll need to register first and complete basic verification before redeeming.

Use Cases
Holiday gifts: Birthdays, Lunar New Year, Christmas — a BTC gift card is trendy and memorable.
Onboarding friends: Want a friend to explore crypto? A small gift card gives them a reason to actually own some.
Remote gifting: No need to know the recipient's wallet address — just the redemption code.
Employee rewards: Companies can use crypto gift cards as special bonuses.
Supported Coins and Amounts
Binance Gift Cards support major cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, BNB, USDT, BUSD, and other popular tokens.
Amounts can be customized or chosen from preset denominations. Minimum is typically very low (e.g., 1 USDT); maximum has limits.
Fees
Buying gift cards incurs no additional fees — what you pay is what the recipient receives. Redemption is also free.
Security Notes
Protect the redemption code: The code is equivalent to cash — whoever has it can redeem. Don't display it publicly.
Buy only from official channels: Only purchase within the Binance app. Don't buy "discounted gift cards" from third parties — they may be scams.
Redeem promptly: While gift cards typically have no expiration, redeem soon after receiving to avoid code leaks.
Verify the source: Be cautious of gift cards from strangers. Scammers may use gift cards for social engineering.
Can Gift Cards Be Refunded?
Generally, created gift cards aren't refundable. However, if the card hasn't been redeemed, check the gift card management page for a recall option. Policies may change, so confirm before purchasing.
Crypto gift cards are an innovative way to give gifts — turning "cold digital numbers" into a present with warmth.
