Binance has its own NFT marketplace where you can buy and sell digital collectibles, artwork, game items, and more. Compared to third-party platforms like OpenSea, Binance NFT's advantage is direct integration with your Binance account — no external wallet connection needed.
Accessing the Binance NFT Marketplace
- Open Binance APP → More → find the "NFT" entry
- Or visit binance.com/nft on the web
You'll see various NFT works, including trending picks, latest listings, and rankings.
If you don't have a Binance account, first register on Binance — an account is required to buy and sell NFTs.
How to Buy NFTs
The Binance NFT marketplace offers two trading methods:
Fixed-Price Purchase
The seller sets a fixed price — if it suits you, buy directly.
- Browse or search for the NFT you want
- Review NFT details (creator, price, attributes, etc.)
- Tap "Buy Now"
- Confirm payment (typically in BNB, BUSD, or ETH)
- Purchase complete — the NFT appears in your collection
Auction Bidding
The seller sets a starting price, and buyers compete with bids.
- Find an NFT currently in auction
- Check the current highest bid and remaining time
- Enter your bid (must exceed the current highest)
- Wait for the auction to end
- If you're the highest bidder, the NFT is yours
When bidding, the system freezes the corresponding amount. If someone outbids you, your frozen funds are automatically released.
How to Sell NFTs
If you own an NFT and want to sell:
- Go to "My NFTs" page
- Select the NFT you want to sell
- Choose the selling method: fixed price or auction
- Set the price or starting bid
- Select accepted payment tokens
- Set the listing duration
- Confirm listing
Once listed, other users can see and purchase your NFT.
Binance NFT Special Features
Mystery Box Binance periodically releases NFT mystery boxes containing random digital collectibles. The price is usually affordable, and opening a rare NFT could be worth much more than the box price.
IGO (Initial Game Offering) Game projects debut in-game NFT items on Binance — early participants may acquire scarce assets.
Brand Collaboration Series Binance collaborates with various brands, artists, and celebrities to release limited NFT collections.
Trading Fees
- Buying: Typically no or very low fees
- Selling: Binance charges a percentage of the sale price as a platform fee (usually 1%)
- Creator royalties: Some NFTs have creator royalties (0-10%), deducted from the sale price on each resale
Where Are NFTs Stored?
NFTs purchased on the Binance marketplace are stored in your Binance account. You can:
- Transfer or sell within Binance: Most convenient
- Withdraw to an external wallet: Supports withdrawing NFTs to MetaMask and other compatible wallets, requiring on-chain gas fees
Risks of Buying NFTs
- Extreme price volatility: NFT prices are entirely determined by supply and demand, with no intrinsic value anchor
- Low liquidity: Popular NFTs sell easily; obscure ones may have no buyers at all
- Counterfeit risk: Some people upload fake NFTs impersonating well-known creators — verify creator identity before buying
- Market cooling: NFT hype is cyclical — during downturns, overall prices may drop significantly
Who Is This For?
- People interested in digital art and collectibles
- Gamers (purchasing in-game NFT items)
- Speculators willing to take high risk for high returns
Not suitable for investors seeking stable returns. NFTs are more like art collecting than traditional investing. If you don't understand or have passion for a particular NFT project, buying purely to speculate will likely result in losses.
Treating NFTs as a hobby rather than a money-making tool leads to a much healthier mindset.
