Setting Up Binance APP Push Notifications
Markets run 24/7, and you can't stare at your screen all the time. Binance APP's push notification feature alerts you when prices move, orders execute, or important announcements drop — so you never miss a critical moment.
After creating an account through the Binance registration link and downloading the APP, follow these steps to set up notifications.
Enable System-Level Push Permissions
First, make sure your phone allows Binance APP to send notifications:
Android:
- Settings → App Management → find Binance
- Tap "Notifications" → enable "Allow Notifications"
- Also enable "Lock Screen Notifications" and "Banner Notifications"
iPhone:
- Settings → Notifications → find Binance
- Enable "Allow Notifications"
- Enable banners, sounds, and badges
In-App Notification Settings
The Binance APP has more granular notification controls:
- Open APP → tap profile icon in upper left
- Tap "Message Center" or "Notification Settings"
- You'll see multiple notification categories:
Price Alerts: Custom target prices for specific tokens — push when reached Order Notifications: Order fills, stop-loss triggers, and other trade-related alerts System Notifications: Account security alerts, maintenance notices Event Notifications: Launchpool, airdrop, and promotional reminders Market Volatility: Major market movement alerts during sharp swings
Enable or disable categories based on your needs.
Setting Specific Price Alerts
One of the most practical features:
- Go to any token's trading page (e.g., BTC/USDT)
- Tap the alert icon in the upper right (bell shape)
- Set a target price and direction (alert when rising to X or falling to X)
- Confirm creation
You can set multiple alerts for the same token — for example, both an upper resistance level alert and a lower support level alert.
Alerts can also be managed in bulk from your watchlist.
Market Movement Alerts
Binance pushes alerts when significant market swings occur — such as when a token moves up or down more than 5% or 10% in a short period.
To enable: Notification Settings → Market Movements → Enable
You can choose the scope (all tokens or watchlist only) and the percentage threshold.
Troubleshooting Missing Notifications
Set everything up but not receiving pushes? Check these:
Battery saver mode: May restrict background pushes. Add Binance to the battery optimization whitelist: Settings → Battery → App Management → find Binance → allow unrestricted background activity.
Do Not Disturb: Confirm DND isn't active, or add Binance as an exception.
Background permissions: Some Android phones (especially certain brands) auto-clear background apps — manually add Binance to the auto-start whitelist and background protection list.
Network connection: Pushes need network access. Confirm mobile data or WiFi is working.
APP version: Older versions may have push bugs — update to the latest.
Managing Notifications to Avoid Overload
Too many pushes can be disruptive. Recommended settings:
- Long-term holders: Enable price alerts + market movements, disable frequent trading notifications
- Active traders: Enable order fills + price alerts
- Everyone: Keep account security notifications enabled
You can also set "quiet hours" in notification settings — for example, no pushes overnight with a morning review instead.
Email and SMS Notifications
Besides APP pushes, Binance supports email and SMS notifications:
- Email: Good for trading reports and account security warnings
- SMS: Good for login verification codes and withdrawal confirmations
These can be managed in account security settings.
Properly configured push notifications help you get important information promptly without being overwhelmed by irrelevant messages.
