Binance Square has many creators sharing trading insights. Following them puts their latest content in your feed. How do you follow? How do you manage if you're following too many?
Using Square requires a Binance account, and the experience is best on the Binance app.
How to Follow Creators
Method 1: Follow from a content page
- Browse Square and find content you like
- Tap the author's avatar or name to visit their profile
- Tap the "Follow" button
- Done
Method 2: Search and follow
- Use the search function on the Square page
- Enter the creator's name or ID
- Find the creator in the results
- Tap "Follow"
Method 3: Follow from recommendations
- Binance Square recommends popular creators
- Tap follow directly from the recommendation list
After following, the creator's new content will appear in your Following feed.
How to Unfollow
From the creator's profile:
- Visit the followed creator's profile
- Tap the "Following" button
- Confirm unfollow
Batch management from your follow list:
- Go to your Square profile page
- Find "Following List"
- Browse all creators you follow
- Tap unfollow on those you no longer want
Unfollowing is silent — the other person won't receive a notification.
Who Should You Follow?
Evaluation criteria:
Content quality: Articles with depth, data support, and logical analysis. Not someone who just posts "BTC is going to 100K!" every day.
Consistency: Review their content history — are their views consistent, not bullish today and bearish tomorrow?
Transparency: Good creators share their actual trade records, including losses. Those who only show winning trades aren't trustworthy.
Expertise: Follow creators with specialization in a specific area, like futures trading, DeFi research, or macro analysis.
Engagement: Responds to follower questions rather than posting and disappearing.
Following Too Many People?
Following too many creators floods your feed with noise, reducing information efficiency. Suggestions:
Regular cleanup: Monthly review — unfollow creators who haven't posted in a while or whose quality has declined.
Control quantity: Following 20–30 quality creators is more valuable than following 200 mediocre ones.
Categorize: Follow a few technical analysts, a few fundamental analysts, a few industry news sources — cover different dimensions.
Following Feed vs. Discovery Feed
Binance Square typically has two feeds:
Following feed: Only shows content from creators you follow. Best for focused reading.
Recommended/Discovery feed: Algorithm-recommended trending content and new creators. Best for discovering new content.
Using both feeds lets you track followed creators while also finding new quality content.
Following and Push Notifications
After following creators, you may receive push notifications when they post new content. If notifications are too frequent:
- Go to Binance app notification settings
- Find Square-related notification options
- Choose to receive notifications only from specific creators
- Or turn off Square push notifications entirely
