Where to Find the Transaction ID (TxID) on Binance?

Published on 2026-03-02 | 10 min

How to find the transaction ID (TxID) on the Binance app and web, plus how to use TxID to track transaction status on blockchain explorers.

You sent a transfer that hasn't arrived after ages, and the other party asks for the TxID — but you can't find it anywhere in the app. TxID is the unique proof of an on-chain transfer. Whether you're checking progress yourself or contacting support, you'll need it.

Users without a Binance account can register on Binance first. Existing users should download the latest Binance app version to ensure full functionality.

What Is a TxID?

TxID stands for Transaction ID, also called a transaction hash. Every blockchain transfer generates a unique TxID — like a tracking number for a package. With a TxID, you can look up all the transaction details on a blockchain explorer: sender, receiver, amount, confirmation status, etc.

A TxID is typically a long hexadecimal string. For example, a BTC TxID looks like: a1b2c3d4e5f6... (64 characters).

Finding TxID on the Binance App

For withdrawal TxID:

  1. Open the Binance app
  2. Tap "Assets" or "Wallet" in the bottom right
  3. Find "Transaction History" or "History"
  4. Switch to the "Withdrawals" tab
  5. Find the relevant withdrawal record and tap for details
  6. The TxID (transaction hash) is shown on the details page
  7. Tap the TxID to copy or jump to a blockchain explorer

For deposit TxID:

  1. Also go to "Transaction History"
  2. Switch to the "Deposits" tab
  3. Find the relevant record and tap
  4. The deposit TxID is on the details page

Finding TxID on the Binance Web

  1. Log in to the Binance website
  2. Hover over "Wallet" in the upper right
  3. Click "Transaction History"
  4. Select "Deposit" or "Withdrawal" records
  5. Find the TxID in the record details

The web version allows filtering by time and currency, making it easier to locate specific transactions.

Using TxID to Check Transaction Status

With the TxID, check real-time transaction status on blockchain explorers:

  • BTC transactions: Search on blockchain.com or mempool.space
  • ETH/ERC20 transactions: Search on etherscan.io
  • BSC/BEP20 transactions: Search on bscscan.com
  • TRX/TRC20 transactions: Search on tronscan.org

On the blockchain explorer you can see:

  • Whether the transaction has been confirmed
  • Current number of confirmations
  • Estimated time until full confirmation
  • Sender and receiver addresses
  • Actual transfer amount and fee

When Does the TxID Appear After Withdrawal?

After submitting a withdrawal request, the TxID doesn't appear immediately. Binance needs to process your request, perform security reviews, then broadcast to the blockchain. The typical flow:

  1. Withdrawal request submitted → Status shows "Processing," no TxID yet
  2. Binance approves and broadcasts → TxID is generated, status changes to "Completed" or "Pending Confirmation"
  3. Blockchain confirmation → The receiving exchange or wallet confirms arrival

If it stays "Processing" for a long time without a TxID, risk controls may have been triggered. Wait patiently or contact support.

When Do You Need a TxID?

Transfer not arriving: Take the TxID to a blockchain explorer. If the chain shows confirmed but the receiving platform hasn't credited it, the issue is with the receiving platform — contact their support with the TxID.

Contacting customer support: Whether it's Binance or another platform, the first step in resolving deposit/withdrawal issues is providing the TxID.

Proving a transfer occurred: TxID is immutable on-chain proof that a transaction actually happened.

Tracking large transfers: Large transfers may need more confirmations — use the TxID to check confirmation progress in real time.

Do Internal Transfers Have TxIDs?

If you used Binance internal transfer (like Binance Pay or internal transfers), there's no on-chain TxID. Internal transfers don't go through the blockchain — they're just account changes within Binance's system. You'll see an order number in transaction records, but it's not a TxID.

Only deposits and withdrawals that go through the blockchain network have TxIDs.

Tips

  1. Build the habit of noting the TxID after every transfer — it speeds things up if issues arise
  2. TxIDs are public information — sharing with support has no security risk, but never share your private keys or seed phrase
  3. If your Binance app version is too old, the transaction history interface may look different — update to the latest version
  4. The same transaction's TxID is identical whether viewed from the sender's or receiver's side — that's what makes it a unique proof
