ARBやOPなどLayer2トークンをBinanceに入金する際のネットワーク選択

Binanceユーザー向けのこのトピックに関する包括的なガイドです。

Why Layer 2 Token Deposits Are Confusing

With the rapid growth of Ethereum's Layer 2 ecosystem, more users are working with ARB (Arbitrum), OP (Optimism), MATIC (Polygon), and similar tokens. Network selection confusion arises because:

  • The same token may exist on multiple chains
  • The token's "native chain" may differ from the exchange's supported deposit chains
  • Users confuse token names with network names

If you do not have a Binance account, Binanceに登録 first — the deposit page shows supported networks for each token.

ARB Token Deposits

Supported Networks

  • Arbitrum One: ARB's native network — recommended
  • ERC-20 (Ethereum mainnet): Also supported in some cases

Recommendation

If your ARB is in an Arbitrum wallet, select Arbitrum One for the fastest and cheapest option.

Steps

  1. Open the Binance app
  2. Go to Deposit → Search "ARB"
  3. Select the network (e.g., Arbitrum One)
  4. Copy the deposit address
  5. On the sending end, select the same network and paste the address

OP Token Deposits

  • Optimism: OP's native network — first choice
  • ERC-20: Ethereum mainnet — backup

Ensure the sending network is also Optimism. Although Optimism addresses look the same as Ethereum (both 0x), they are different networks.

MATIC/POL Deposits

MATIC (now POL) is more complex:

  • Polygon: Native network
  • ERC-20: Ethereum version
  • BEP-20: BSC version

Confirm which chain your MATIC is on before depositing.

Other Layer 2 Tokens

  • AVAX: Use Avalanche C-Chain
  • FTM/S: Check Binance for supported networks
  • Newer tokens: May only support limited networks — always check the Binance app

Pre-Deposit Checklist

  1. Confirm token name: Ensure it is the correct token, not a similarly named one
  2. Confirm network match: Sending and receiving networks must be identical. 0x addresses can correspond to Ethereum, BSC, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, etc.
  3. Confirm minimum deposit amount: Binanceに登録 and check in the app
  4. Confirm network status: Check for maintenance announcements
  5. Test with a small amount: Strongly recommended for first-time deposits

If You Chose the Wrong Network

  1. Stay calm and assess the situation
  2. Check the blockchain explorer for transaction status
  3. Contact Binance support with complete transaction information
  4. Wait for assessment — recovery success depends on the specific network combination

FAQ

Can ARB only be deposited via Arbitrum?

No. Binance may support multiple networks. Check the Binance app for current options.

Are Layer 2 deposits faster than Ethereum mainnet?

Usually yes. Layer 2 networks have faster block and confirmation times with lower fees.

Do Layer 2 token deposits require Tag or Memo?

Most Layer 2 tokens (ARB, OP, MATIC) do not. But always check the Binance deposit page.

Safety Tips

  1. Follow Binance's deposit page: Always verify network selection there.
  2. Verify address format: Do not mix up addresses across different EVM chains.
  3. Watch announcements: Layer 2 upgrades may temporarily suspend deposits.
  4. Use official channels: Binanceに登録 and Binanceアプリをダウンロード.
  5. Test with small amounts first: New tokens, new networks — always test.

Layer 2 token deposits may seem complex, but carefully verifying network information prevents the vast majority of issues.
